Can this computer run it?

Model family matters, but size, quantization, RAM, GPU memory, and storage usually matter more. Treat this as a practical first estimate, then verify against the model page.

How to find your specs

Windows

Settings > System > About for processor and RAM. Task Manager > Performance > GPU for graphics memory.

Mac

Apple menu > About This Mac. For more detail, open System Settings > General > About.

Linux

Use Settings > About, or try lscpu, free -h, lsblk, and lspci.

Phone / tablet

Settings > General/About. Mobile local AI is possible, but treat it as experimental and small-model only.

Separate tool

This checks local model fit only.

This page is for the basic question: what model sizes and runners can my computer probably handle?

For donated hardware, repairs, sensors, Raspberry Pi nodes, or Tinbot Exchange roles, use the TLIP Device Checker instead.
